Assamese Macaque
(Macaca assamensis)
Habitat: tropical and sub-tropical forests.
Feeding habits: catch its prey or pick up fruits with its hands in tree trunks or in branches.
Food: wild fruits, young leaves of vegetations and insects.
Size: with a body length of 50-66 cm and a tail length of 17-23 cm.
Habits: live in broad-leaved forests in groups and mostly act in trees. Compared with other types of macaques, its face is longer and its rhynchodaenm is more protruding.

Distribution: South of Yunnan and South of Southwest China.
