日本新闻界关注中国变化
下午一点半，福西先生带来一本“宝石”杂志给我看，时间是1984年11月的。杂志封面上醒目地写着五彩标题：“田中角荣<特别寄稿>：日中の课题は信義と两国民の自由な往来た”“底知れぬ邻人，十亿の中国最新研究：一九八六年中国で激动"か起てるての兆侯；……。显然，这一期主要是介绍中国的情况。我懂日语很少，只能猜测含意。福西指着第二个大标题，和我展开了讨论。我们讨论近40分钟后，他说：“There
are many people looking attentively at China very much in Japan.
We know your country much more than American. Do you think
so?”“经过我们40分钟的讨论，我很有同感：“I
think so ! I have more known Japanese during this scientific
expention. Somebody has known China so many things that make me to
have been surprised.”的确，日本朋友很关心中国的变化和发展，当然，他们有自己的看法和疑虑，这并不奇怪。重要的在于我们国家的富强，人民生活的改善。正如我对福西所说：“I
believe that our government wants to improve the living level of
people really and some things need change and improve in our
country.”
